Best Student Suffrage-Themed Project Wins Deborah Clifford Pickman Prize: Vermont History Day Competition
May 5, 2020 @ 4:00 am - May 9, 2020 @ 1:00 pm EDT

*NOW A VIRTUAL EVENT*
Students compete for best suffrage-themed project at this annual statewide event sponsored by the Vermont Historical Society. Vermont Commission on Women Education and Research Foundation sponsors this special prize each year at this event, named in tribute to Vermont historian and writer Deborah Pickman Clifford. The prize money usually goes to the most outstanding entry related to Vermont women who have contributed to our state, or to the role that women have played in our history. In this 19th Amendment centennial year we add one more element: best suffrage-themed project!
