Women Leading the Way: Suffragists & Suffragettes by Mireille Miller, is a visual chronicle of the extraordinary contributions of women from the suffrage movement. Completed in 2010, the 5 1/2′ x 6′ painting covers a span of more than 100 years. Miller is a New York City-based artist and painter who leads the art program in the Primary School of the Lycée Français de New York. Available online are links to biographies of more than 100 suffragists and their struggles to secure voting rights for women.
